A ready to use mix of 3 parts sharp sands and 1-part non-hydraulic lime that can be used as a base coat plaster, render or mortar. Made using industry leading hot mixing techniques that replicate the traditional methodology of stonemasons over the centuries. This gives a highly consistent material with properties that make it ideal for use in the conservation of historic properties.
The quick lime used is sourced from Buxton in Derbyshire, the purest form of lime available.
This product can be used both internally and externally.

Non-hydraulic plasters and mortars require exposure to carbon dioxide in the presence of moisture to harden, it is critical to ensure that these materials are used at the appropriate time of year and to protect them from drying too rapidly. Application guides are printed on all bags and are available to download from the technical page.
As a rough guide, allow 1 day per mm of thickness for setting, depending on relative temperature & humidity.
Supplied in 25kg bags and 1000kg bulk bags with plastic bale sealed liners.
Please Note: Due to being shipped on a pallet the minimum order is 3 x 25kg bags.
