Simply the best product to apply to any wood knots, before you start painting with your linseed paint.  Apply shellac around rebates before glazing - this prevents putty from drying out and also prevents linseed oil from affecting silicon seals on double glazing units.

 

Can also be used as a knotting solution on woods knots, prior to painting with Holkham Linseed Paints to prevent popping.
