Beeck silicate based paints have been manufactured since 1894.  Unlike artifical resin or silicone masonry paints, Beeck silicate paints do not set through the bonding of a petrochemical synthetic binder but through the process of silification.  This results in a permanent, inseparable unity between the paint and the plaster, stone, render or concrete.  This paint cannot be removed by paint stripping which can distinguish between fake paints with a mineral character and true silicate paints.  The paints silicate structure ensures that you get the most vapour permeable covering available.  These paints are also extremely durable and have been on the same buildings for a hundred years without significant decay.
